Upcoming changes to age ratings in Australia and Vietnam

What changed

Starting June 18, 2026, age ratings on the App Store will be updated in Australia and Vietnam.

Why it matters for App Store teams

Check the named rule against your app's behavior, disclosures and listing. Record any necessary changes before the next submission; an announcement alone does not imply your app is noncompliant.

Recommended follow-up

1. Read Apple's original “Upcoming changes to age ratings in Australia and Vietnam” announcement and record the affected platforms, storefronts and any effective date.
2. Check the named rule against your app's behavior, disclosures and listing. Record any necessary changes before the next submission; an announcement alone does not imply your app is noncompliant.
3. Assign an owner, record the baseline and verify the affected flow. Treat subsequent ranking or rating changes as observations, not proof that this announcement caused them.
