Why it matters for App Store teams

Check whether a field, metric definition or workflow used in your reporting changed. Keep pre-change and post-change observations separate until comparability is confirmed.

Recommended follow-up

1. Read Apple's original “Hello Developer: September 2026” announcement and record the affected platforms, storefronts and any effective date.
2. Check whether a field, metric definition or workflow used in your reporting changed. Keep pre-change and post-change observations separate until comparability is confirmed.
3. Assign an owner, record the baseline and verify the affected flow. Treat subsequent ranking or rating changes as observations, not proof that this announcement caused them.
