Score components

The 0-100 score is relative to qualified storefronts in the same monthly cohort. It is not a forecast of installs, revenue or success.

  • Release Momentum: 20%.
  • Market Openness: 25%.
  • Ranking Mobility: 25%.
  • Category Diversity: 15%.
  • Localization Gap: 15%.

Qualification gates

A country must meet minimum observed coverage before it receives a comparable score.

  • At least 60% ranking-day coverage.
  • At least three non-empty chart groups.
  • At least 100 distinct charting apps.
  • Available volatility observations.
  • Defined storefront-language mapping.

Interpret responsibly

Use component evidence and coverage alongside the total. A localization gap can describe an opportunity, but public binary languages cannot confirm private App Store Connect localization settings.

  • Compare countries within the same report month.
  • Review final country pages for stable citations.
  • Use CSV or JSON when reproducing calculations.
